This page explains how to have your data deleted from InsideDM, whoever you are — a business using the product, or someone who messaged a business that uses it. Both routes work, and neither requires you to have an InsideDM account.
You don't need to find out which software that business uses, and you don't need to chase them.
When you message a business, InsideDM holds your conversation on that business’s behalf — they decide what happens to it, and we act on their instruction. But you should not have to negotiate with anyone to be forgotten, so every business using InsideDM instructs us in advance to act directly on two requests from the people they message: stop messaging me, and delete my data.
We may ask one question to confirm you are who you say you are — mainly so we don’t delete someone else’s conversation on the word of a stranger. If we can’t complete a deletion for a reason the law imposes on us, we tell you which reason and what we kept.
Every table in our database that holds something about a person carries a recorded decision about what erasure does to it, and our build fails if someone adds a table without deciding. Two things survive a deletion on purpose, and it is fairer to tell you now than to surprise you.

Everything else about you goes: profile, conversations, messages and media, derived traits, and any phone number or payment identifier we were holding — the last of these are encrypted under a key belonging only to you, so destroying that key destroys them all at once.
