In short
Go to Sell › Rewards, click Create programme, set how many points customers earn for every rupee they spend and click Save and make live. Then click New reward to add what they can spend their points on.
Where it isSellRewards
Customers who join your programme earn points when they buy and spend them on rewards you choose. They join, check their points and spend them in the chat — no app or card.
Start your programme
- Go to Sell › Rewards. On the Programme tab, click Create programme.
- Under How customers earn, fill in Points for every ₹ Spent — for example, 1 point for every ₹100.
- If points should run out, fill in Expire after (days). Leave it empty and they don’t expire.
- Click Save and make live. Purchases from then on earn points.
Only whole steps earn. At 1 point for every ₹100, a ₹199 purchase earns 1 point.
Add rewards
- Click New reward.
- Under What is it?, name the reward, and add a Description if you like.
- Choose its Kind — A free item, A fixed discount, A percentage off, Cashback credit, A session or visit or A perk.
- Choose what it’s Paid in — Points or Cashback (₹) — and what it Costs.
- Under How is it given?, choose Confirmed at the counter, Applied automatically or Customer verifies with a code.
- Click Add reward.
To stop offering a reward, click Retire beside it. If you want levels, such as members who spend more earning more, set them in the Tiers card.
What customers do in the chat
- Join. A customer joins by asking your agent, or by scanning your counter’s claim QR. Your agent never signs up anyone who didn’t ask.
- Check. They can ask how many points they have and when they expire.
- Spend. They ask what they can get, pick a reward, and your agent gives them a code to show at your counter.
At your counter
These are on the Programme tab too:
- Redeem a code — type the six digits the customer shows you and click Redeem. Their points are spent at once, so do it as you hand the reward over.
- Record a counter sale — enter their Phone and Amount (₹), then click Record sale. The points wait until the customer messages you to claim them.
- Claim QR for your counter — click Build QR, then Download PNG and print it. Scanning it opens WhatsApp with the claim message ready; sending it joins them and releases the points you’ve been holding.
- Member balance — look up a customer by phone to see their points.
The Counter sales tab lists the sales from your shop and lets you undo a mistake while its undo window is open. The Risk tab holds claims Waiting for approval — approving one credits the customer’s points — and a Risk queue of patterns worth a second look, which never moves anyone’s points.
If something’s not right
- “Points that expire in under two days cannot be warned about…” Use two days or more, or no expiry.
- “That code has expired. Ask them to request a new one.” The customer can ask your agent for a new code.
- “That code was already used.” The points are already spent — check before handing the reward over again.
- “That customer has asked not to be contacted.” The sale can’t be recorded against that number.
- “Saved as a draft. Someone with publish access can make it live.” Your role can save changes but not publish them.
